The outstanding batsman passed famous Sachin Tendulkar to reach the milestone with a score of 122 not out in only 94 balls, including three sixes and nine fours.

Tendulkar hit the 13000-run milestone in 321 innings, whilst Kohli needed 267 innings to do so.
